Our experience with Ontario Provincial Parks
Ontario is home, and we couldn’t love it more! This province is massive—I can drive for over 8 hours from Toronto and still not reach the border. And there’s so much to explore along the way.
With around 330 provincial parks (100 of them offering camping), there’s really no excuse not to get out and enjoy the best of what Ontario has to offer.
What keeps us coming back are the wide-open spaces and the privacy you find in provincial parks. They offer something that private campgrounds just can’t match.
The variety of landscapes is another reason we love it here. From the lush forests in the east to sandy beaches and gorgeous lakes in the southwest, and even dramatic cliffs up north—it’s a camper’s dream.
